With the publication today, Sunday, of “Order SND/442/2020, of 23 May, amending Order SND/399/2020, of 9 May, for the relaxation of certain nationwide restrictions, established after the declaration of the state of alarm in application of phase 1 of the Plan for the transition to a new normality and Order SND/414/2020, of 16 May, for the relaxation of certain nationwide restrictions established after the declaration of the state of alarm in application of phase 2 of the Plan for the transition to a new normality.” Catalonia will move to Phase 1 in the early hours of Monday 25 May 2020.
The health regions of Camp de Tarragona, Alt Pirineu i Aran, and Terres de l’Ebre will move to phase 2.
The rest of the territory could move to phase 2 within two weeks, leaving Catalonia in phase 1 and phase 2 depending on the area.
We remind you that the regulation of each phase is extensive and sector specific, hence we link the consolidated versions of both standards:
For your comfort,
The Generalitat de Catalunya has published a “Frequently Asked Questions and Answers” on Phase 1, organised by region. We recommend reading it. There is also a list of municipalities ordered by the health region where they are located (remember that mobility restrictions in Catalonia are organised by health region): [see list].
There is also a technical summary available, not exhaustive, of the ORden SND/399 elaborated by Protecció Civil: [here].
